Workshops 2

I love opening up a space to explore all things Mindfulness related. Below are the workshops I offer, with information further down the page on structure, price, and how to book on.

All workshops can be tailored to family groups (with children of age 8+).

Workshops

Mindfulness for Beginners (for individuals and small groups)

I open up a space to explore what Mindfulness means in an experiential way. We will explore the main themes around mindful living, be guided through sitting and walking practices, and discuss how these can help in everyday life. We will be mainly inside with a few outdoor practices weather-permitting. This is an exploration of waking Mindfulness. Please bring suitable outdoor shoes for the outdoor practices.

Mindfulness in Nature (for small groups)

Weather-allowing, we will be based outside for the entire session and engaging in nature-themed mindful activities and games. Great for adults and children alike, this workshop makes for a unique and fun family experience. Make sure to bring warm layers and waterproofs! Walking boots/wellies advised

Mindfulness of Sleep and Dream (for individuals and small groups)

We will explore the importance of sleep, how it “works”, how we can bring Mindful awareness into different sleep stages, with a large focus on Lucid Dreaming and tips and techniques for engaging with the unconscious. Sleep-related mindful practices and activities are incorporated into the session. For those interested, we can also touch upon themes that arise in unconscious dreaming such as recurring dreams and nightmares, to understand why they happen and how we can help.

Recommended for those with an existing understanding of Mindfulness and wishing to bring Mindful practice into sleep (although I can tailor to suit the individual/group needs).

Mindfulness with Nature Photography (for small groups)

In this fast-paced, technologically driven world, a lot of us now have access to cameras 24/7 through our phones. Inspired by the digital detox, with a slightly different take, this workshop explores how to use our cameras mindfully while also learning about composition and camera techniques. Simple Mindful practices will be introduced to complement the session. We will be based both inside and outside. Make sure to bring warm layers and waterproofs! Walking boots/ wellies advised.
